Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in garment construction and the ability to fabricate high-quality clothing items. This position requires proficiency in operating sewing machines and a keen eye for detail to ensure all products meet our quality standards.

Duties

• Operate sewing machines to sew, hem, and finish garments according to specifications.
• Collaborate with designers and production staff to understand project requirements and timelines.
• Perform alterations and repairs on garments as needed, ensuring a perfect fit.
• Maintain an organized workspace within the warehouse environment, ensuring all materials are readily available for production.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance, making adjustments as necessary.
• Fabricate garments from various types of fabric while adhering to safety protocols in the workplace.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in garment construction and sewing techniques.
• Proficiency in operating various types of sewing machines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work consistently.
• Knowledge of fabric types and their properties is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Previous experience in a warehouse setting is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
