*Job Summary*

We are seeking a skilled Seamstress to join our team. The Seamstress will be responsible for sewing and fabricating garments in a warehouse setting.

Norcal PPE is seeking an Industrial Sewer for a new Firefighter Gear Repair center located in El Dorado Hills, CA. Work for a small but growing veteran-owned business. It’s important that you be a motivated, high energy, positive person who is willing to be trained in several aspects of the business and pitch in when needed in areas besides sewing. Demonstration of sewing ability will be required before hiring.

Full Time Position $16-20 an hour, depending on experience. Weekly pay available. Paid time off after the first year of employment available. Flexible hours available.

Shifts are Monday through Friday with occasional overtime opportunities available.

New industrial equipment and a new state-of-the-art facility will be your working environment.

General Requirements:

- Must have 2-4 Years’ experience in sewing heavy material.

- Must have experience using industrial sewing machines.

- Must provide attention to detail.

- Must be responsible, willing to learn, able to adhere to deadlines and be dependable

- English as a primary language is preferred; but no required

*Qualifications*

- Proven experience as a Seamstress or similar role

- Proficiency in sewing, garment construction, and the operation of sewing machines

- Attention to detail and quality craftsmanship

- Strong organizational skills to maintain an efficient workflow

- Be able to, with or without correct close supervision, adjust focus and distinguish between different colors, materials and manufacturers in order to make the correct repairs.

- Be able to work an 8-hour shift sitting, standing, bending, and lifting.

- Be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
