We value the highest craftsmanship, innovation, and the skilled maker community. Brightbound is a Napa, CA and Brooklyn, NY design studio with a focus on lighting. Locations on both coasts are shared with our partner brands, NYC furniture design studio, Token, and a California based interior design studio, Shawback Design. This role will include marketing responsibilities for all three brands as they are interconnected.

Marketing Specialist

Position Responsibilities:

Demonstrate knowledge of the Brightbound product offerings as well as our partner furniture brand, Token and the interior design services company, Shawback Design

Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments

Work with owners to develop marketing material for new products and corresponding press release materials

Organize visuals and messaging for trade presentations (virtual and in person)

Work with owners to implement effective social media strategies and manage company social media platforms

Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development, complete with formal proposals and recommendations

Help to guide creative direction to meet objectives for all advertising and public-facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets

Manage and regularly update website to reflect most current product offerings and brand messaging, analyzing analytics regularly

Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, and optimize accordingly

Ensure the alignment of communications and messaging in all channels that are consistently reflective of the brands

Regularly communicate with owners and director of sales ensuring synchronization of marketing and sales program

Work with director of sales to ensure designer, press, and other contact lists are up to date

Develop and ambitiously grow marketing goals, analyzing effectiveness on a quarterly basis

Participate in studio events and other public outreach events for the company

Strong Graphic Design skills including a working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign

Ensure regular maintenance of studio/showroom aesthetics, organization, and overall standards

Track key metrics for performance of production studio, evaluate and share these metrics with the team and determine how performance of the department affect other aspects of the business

Other duties as assigned

Key Qualifications for Success:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 3 years of experience in a marketing, graphic design, and social media role
- Experience in graphic design or comparable creative field
- Excellent time management skills
- Friendly, open and responsive personality
- Experience creating product presentations,, special events, and to support sales teams
- Passion for interior design, lighting, furniture, architecture, fine art
