Objective: The main objective of the Parts Sales Specialist is to sell parts and to help maintain a smooth-running parts department so that the customer has a quick and easy experience.

Supervisor: Sales Manager

Supervises Others: No

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and assist them in identifying their parts needs
• Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries, recommending parts, and processing sale transactions
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of inventory and compatibility of parts with various engines
• Answer phone calls and provide relevant information to customers about available parts, stocked parts, and brands for which we are a dealer
• Gather and deliver parts for the service shop so that work orders can be completed in a timely fashion
• Maintain and develop a comprehensive product knowledge
• Organize daily responsibilities in a way that creates the quickest and most helpful service to each customer
• Prospect (call out) in slow times to increase business

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong initiative for independent work
• Sales experience a must
• Experience with small engines and outdoor power equipment is preferred
• Computer proficiency is preferred
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Physical Factors: Should be able to stand for long hours and lift at least 50 pounds overhead.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
