Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in law enforcement or loss prevention to utilize their skills in a professional setting.
Duties:
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of all individuals
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect any suspicious activity
- Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
- Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering the premises
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related activities
- Manage conflicts or disputes that may arise on the premises
- Operate and maintain CCTV systems and other security equipment
Skills:
- Experience in law enforcement, loss prevention, or a related field preferred
- Strong surveillance skills with the ability to identify potential threats or risks
- Excellent conflict management abilities to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing circumstances
