Security Guard - Unarmed provides security and guards buildings, grounds, materials, work sites, or other venues. Monitors security systems and responds to alarms, reports of issues, or requests for assistance. Being a Security Guard - Unarmed patrols an assigned location. Follows required gate-keeping procedures such as verifying visitor credentials, conducting inspections, or preparing paperwork. Additionally, Security Guard - Unarmed may operate an access control or identity system to control building access. Completes shift activity logs and inputs to systems. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. May require a Security Guard License. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Security Guard - Unarmed works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. What you will do:
Provide excellent customer service.Watch CCTV camera system and notate accurately in a daily activity report.Observe, survey, and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.Provide rapid response in critical situations.Your background:
At least 21 years of age or olderHigh school education or equivalent (GED)Legally authorized to work in the United StatesHave a solid/stable work historyDrug Testing and Background screening requiredSecurity, Military, Corrections, or Law Enforcement experience is a PLUSState Security License or ability to obtain one - No worries if not, we can help you!Reliable transportation
