Security Guard - Unarmed jobs in New Castle, DE
Security Guard - Unarmed provides security and guards buildings, grounds, materials, work sites, or other venues. Monitors security systems and responds to alarms, reports of issues, or requests for assistance. Being a Security Guard - Unarmed patrols an assigned location. Follows required gate-keeping procedures such as verifying visitor credentials, conducting inspections, or preparing paperwork. Additionally, Security Guard - Unarmed may operate an access control or identity system to control building access. Completes shift activity logs and inputs to systems. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. May require a Security Guard License. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Security Guard - Unarmed works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK OVERNIGHTS AND WEEKENDS NO EXCEPTION!
- Emergency Security Officer coverage.
- Emergency response (fire or other emergencies).
- Secure entrance during non-operating hours
- Perform an inventory check on all the equipment at the beginning and end of their shift.
- Observe and report any safety / security concerns
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and dependable work ethic
- Reliable Transportation
- Prepare daily activity and incident reports
- Maintain good client relationship
- Maintain professional appearance
- Good personal skills
- Complete Tours using work cell phones every hour throughout entire Shift
- Safely patrol assigned area, noting any issues, incidents, and hazards of which you become aware
- Be courteous and polite to all those you come into contact with
- Always represent Imperial Security and its' clients in the most positive and professional manner
- Complete all necessary logs and reports as instructed in the sites Post Orders
- Always stand / rove while on duty, This is not a sit down position!
- Must be able to work outside in any weather ( No exceptions )
