Security Manager implements security strategy, policies, and standards to ensure the physical safety of all visitors, employees, or customers to the organization's facilities and the security of property and assets. Conducts regular audits and inspections to assess, identify, and mitigate any security vulnerabilities or gaps. Being a Security Manager trains staff and establishes operational plans for crisis response, disaster recovery, evacuation, workplace violence, and other emergency events. Monitors and inspects systems, alarms, and other physical security measures. Additionally, Security Manager participates in education programs and contributes to communications on security policies and topics to ensure staff is adequately informed and equipped to manage potential security issues. Engages with local, state, provincial, or federal authorities to keep abreast with all security-related information, directives, and events. Initiates or assists with investigations and critical event responses in coordination with law enforcement and other officials or agencies. Understands law enforcement methods, tactics, and procedures. Requires a bachelor's degree in law enforcement, criminal justice, security, or related discipline. Typically reports to a director. The Security Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Security Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Summary
Finished product inventory technicians are responsible for creating and maintaining an accurate count of all finished product inventory stored in the finished product vault. In addition to regular audits of the finished products and packaging materials, finished product inventory technicians are responsible for picking and packing orders for delivery to dispensaries in the state. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work may require prolonged standing, some bending, stooping and stretching. Requires lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and push/pull up to 100 pounds also use assistance (multiple people, forklift, dolly, etc.) when lifting/moving over 100 pounds. Frequent holding/grasping with the hands when loading and unloading equipment. Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate manicuring tools other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing. Requires adequate vision with the ability to see color and adjust focus.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed at a busy outdoor and indoor cannabis facility. The outdoor/indoor facility is exposed to the natural elements. Workers should be prepared for fluctuating cold mornings and hot afternoons weather, sun exposure, and allergies. Work may be stressful at times and may include dealing with difficult people and/or law enforcement. Available to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, holidays, and/or events during harvest periods is required.
