Security Operations Center Manager jobs in Alamogordo, NM

To provide a safe and secure atmosphere for patients, visitors, and employees. Protect hospital buildings, assets and premises as assigned. Responsible for rounding and monitoring the facility and campus for any security concerns and to ensure all areas are secure.   Responsible for facility walk-through for anything in alarm condition and reporting upon discovery.  Assist with helicopter landing/takeoffs.  Line of site supervision in the Emergency Room.  Reports to the Director of Plant Operations.  Familiar with concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field and minimum one-year pertinent experience desirable.  Preference for protective service, public relations aptitudes, communication skills, safety conscious, clerical accuracy, observant, investigative, empathetic and understanding, mechanically inclined; able to control emergency, crisis and stress situations; independent thinking/sound judgment, physically able and proficient in self-defense.  Obtain within 1-year the Certified Healthcare Security Officer (CHSO) designation utilizing the International Association of Hospital Security and Safety educational book and testing.
