We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our innovative team in the finance industry. This role will provide the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and projects that require a high level of skill and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical equipment and systems. This position offers a unique opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities- Design, develop and maintain electrical control systems and components to required specifications, focusing on economy, safety, reliability, quality, and sustainability.
- Apply principles and techniques of electrical engineering to accomplish goals.
- Develop and implement innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation and functionality of electrical systems.
- Utilize software such as AutoCAD to create and interpret electrical schematics.
- Program PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) from scratch, preferably Allen Bradley and Siemens.
- Use Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Kanban methodologies to optimize processes and manage project flow.
- Apply the 5 Why problem-solving technique to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Provide technical support and training to team members and stakeholders.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement necessary safety measures.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the finance industry.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, PLC, Allen Bradley, Siemens, MMI, HMI, and understanding of electrical schematics.
- Experience with Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban, and 5 Why methodologies.
- Knowledge of relay logic and ladder logic.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of electrical health and safety regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and drive results.
- Proven ability to learn quickly, adapt to new situations, and solve complex problems.

About Albertson, North Carolina
Waterloo, also known as Grady House, is a historic plantation house located near Albertson, Duplin County, North Carolina. It was built about 1806, and is a two-story, three bay by two bay, Federal style frame dwelling. It sits on a brick pier foundation and has a steep gable roof. The house is surrounded on three sides by a one-story enclosed shed. Also on the property is a contributing two-room outbuilding.
