Senior Process Engineer jobs in El Paso, TX

Insure the development, execution, control, and continuous improvement of all manufacturing processes. All job starts activities for new and revised processes, including tool and process development to meet established quality and timing requirements. Responsible for validation of new or revised processes in the production environment. Development and documentation of process control methods and instructions. Continuously investigate and search for new and or/improved equipment or process in support of Global continuous improvement. Participate in quoting, feasibility study and development of new processes and products. Participate in APQP (ADVANCED PRODUCT QUILITY PLANNING) activities, including feasibility studies and development of related documentation. Assist in PPAP submissions. Participation in internal audit activities, when required. Review and react to process/manufacturing reporting metrics and participate in continuous improvement activities relating to this area. Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relation to product, process and quality system. Identify and record any problems with the product, process and quality system. Participate in training and orientation of new employees, when required. Adhere to all required safety guidelines and report hazards or violations. Miscellaneous duties as required by manager. Ensure that all accidents and injuries are promptly reported.     Requirements: Be familiar with ATF16949 EMS and Quality Management System Awareness requirements pertaining to job. Become aware of how this job affects quality, cost and delivery objectives. Understand customer (internal and external) requirements and how this can contribute to meeting the requirements of Global. Be familiar with Environment Policy and significant. Become aware of how this job affects EMS objectives and targets at Global. Engineering Degree or equivalent are training. Understanding of profile extrusion, fabrication and related processes. Understanding of advanced quality planning tools and methodology, including flow charts, control plans, FMEA’s and process control instructions. Basic understanding of SPC and process capability studies, and gauging requirements. Basic understanding of process and production methods and related instructions. Basic understanding of testing and inspection methods.  Good communication and interpersonal skills, bilingual English/Spanish.
