We are looking for servers to join our outstanding hospitality team. The DoubleTree By Hilton Greensboro is adding Restaurant Servers to our Food and Beverage team. We are looking for friendly, positive people who enjoy the hospitality field. This is the perfect position for someone who is looking for a part time flexible work schedule. Morning and evening hours are available.

Restaurant Server Responsibilities

• Engage with our guests to ensure their dining experience exceeds their expectation
• Being attentive to the guests needs and requests
• Making the guest feel welcome and appreciated
• Finding ways to create a memorable culinary event
• Checking and maintains proper set-up and cleanliness of service station before, during and after shift
• Greeting guests in a friendly and courteous manner, present menus, explaining all specials, promotions
• Making menu suggestions communicating food preparation details
• Communicate menu item ingredients, being knowledgeable about food allergens
• Taking food and beverage orders, suggesting appropriate beverage for each menu item
• Replenishes beverages as requested, frequently checking back with guest to inquire about satisfaction
• Present the guest with the check promptly, thanking them and inviting them to return, so they will frequent the restaurant again
• Assist with banquet events

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience in a casual restaurant preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
