Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Work as a team and assist anywhere that is in need of help
• Uphold the integrity of the company service standard with consistency, style, and excellence in every guest encounter
• Learn the details of the ever-changing seasonal menu
• Keep a neat and clean service area and common public areas
• Provide impeccable service and create a memorable guest experience
• Have intermediate knowledge in food and beverage pairing
• Have intermediate knowledge in food allergies and culinary techniques
• Be aware of what's in season and being able to provide extensive food descriptions
• Communicate with kitchen and service manager consistently to be on the same page for guests requests, orders and service notes
• Stay current on industry trends, specialties, new products, ingredients, and techniques
• Provide responsible alcohol service based on rules and regulations
• Understand the sequence of service and provide seamless flow of service
• Perform opening and closing duties as needed and scheduled
• Follow all procedures and policies set forth by the company and your department
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas
• Learn & understand the company brands, concept, farm operations and share the knowledge with the guests as well as the team.

** This position requires previous serving experience and candidates are required to pass a skills & knowledge test to be a server at any EFHG establishments.

Requirements:

• 1 year of serving experience at a high volume full-service restaurant required
• 2 years of front of house experience at a full-service restaurant preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Knowledge of fine food and wine, as well as proper serving techniques preferred
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays

Physical Requirements:

• Able to walk/stand the entire shift
• Able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Can handle working in a hot environment
• Able to reach, bend, stoop, and walk up/down stairs

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $35.00 per hour
