SCOPE:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Production Manager to join our team. As a PPM, you will oversee and optimize our manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and productivity. You will need to know and understand the processes and procedures that control the manufacturing and production of AMH Corporation's products. You will create, codify, and perfect the processes, and drive process improvement initiatives, implementing lean manufacturing principles. RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Understand the manufacturing processes at AMH that assure "Start On Time, Finish On Time, Meet All Expectations." SOTFOTMAX™
2. Ensure processes are maintained throughout the manufacturing plant.
3. Reprocess when needed to meet SOTFOTMAX™ or to improve efficiency and quality.
4. Lead and direct the process of documenting the company’s processes and procedures.
5. Assist the effort to improve and develop the company’s quality assurance program.
6. Establish regulations to assure clean and organized work environment
7. Improve safety processes
8. Lead and assist in the effort to reduce waste
9. Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to optimize workflow
10. Lead the Continuous Improvement efforts of the manufacturing team.
10. Provide leadership and support in the development of our workforce and manufacturing teams.
11. Provide leadership, advice, and support in developing the information technology to receive, collect, and manipulate data so as to schedule, record, and report the activities of the company in a “state of the art” manner to the management, customers, and vendors of the company. This data must be “Input at the point of Output,” creating real-time information with little or no staff management required.
12. Participate with management in the modernization, automation, computerization, and mechanization of the production and information facilities, equipment, and procedures.
13. Integrate and assimilate within the leadership, through humility and meekness, to promote progress, teamwork, and a positive environment during difficulty, differences, and conflict.
14. Maximize the utilization of the Jobscope ERP System.
REQUIREMENTS:
B.S. Degree preferred
Minimum of five years of experience in Manufacturing and Production and Process Management.
Working knowledge and experience in Process Control, Lean Manufacturing, 5s, and other modern manufacturing principles.
Excellent command and competency of relational data base technology and how to apply and resource it to provide process, productivity, and management solutions to the manufacturing and service environment.

INITIAL FOCUS:
It will require a team of subordinates of two or three industrial engineers
The team will be fully engaged in the plant and production process, going team-by-team until we have
· Identified and incorporated improvements in our process
· Trained and developed the teams, team leaders, and supervisors
· Built a character-based workforce, using the 7 Character Traits, ensuring a safe, clean, and organized work area
· Trained team leaders to be outstanding leaders who are fully committed to AMH and its goals
· Created a championship team spirit with each team
· Trained the supervisors to “run the process” – leaning heavily on competent and highly motivated team leaders
· Eliminated waste and overtime while providing 33% increase in production (40 units per week)
· Created order that our Senior Managers and Administration can leverage for our Customers in a pleasant and predictable work environment
