We’re seeking a Service Writer to be the driving force behind our shop's efficiency. You'll be the liaison between our fleet and the maintenance team, ensuring our trucks are always in top shape.

As a Service Writer, you'll coordinate repairs, manage parts inventory, and optimize shop operations. Your keen attention to detail and ability to multitask will be essential in this role.

Key responsibilities will include

• Identify and schedule necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Coordinate road calls and ensure timely completion.
• Create and maintain repair orders and maintenance records.
• Manage parts inventory and order supplies.
• Communicate with dealerships, vendors, and dispatch.
• Prepare reports on fleet status.
• Conduct daily yard checks and driver orientations.
• Maintain driver documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Requires firm mechanical understanding of trucks and trailers.

· High School Diploma or Equivalent.

· Must have strong interpersonal and exceptional customer service skills and always maintaining a positive attitude.

· Must have the ability to interpret driver needs by carefully listening and understanding their requirements.

· Must have a professional, service-oriented attitude at all times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
