Responsibilities

: Greet service department customers promptly and courteously—attitude is everything!

: Prepares repair orders by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered as well as repairs and services required; obtains approval signatures and enters repair orders into the dealership management system correctly and promptly.

: Acknowledges automotive problems and services needed by listening to the customer’s description of symptoms; clarifying description of problems; conducting vehicle inspection with the customer; taking test drives when needed; checking vehicle maintenance records; answering service calls and scheduling appointments.

: Establishes and maintains customer relations by explaining estimates and expected return of vehicles; obtaining customer’s approval of estimates and repairs; recording contact information; answering questions and concerns that arise; arranging towing and temporary transportation as needed.

: Verifies warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers; explaining provisions and exclusions in detail to customers.

: Develops estimates by costing materials, supplies and labor; calculating customer’s payment, including deductibles.

: Communicates professionally and provides updates on customer repairs as needed to Service Technicians and the parts department.

Qualifications

: CDK experience is a plus.

: Must be able to communicate professionally in person, over the phone, and online with both customers and co-workers.

: Must have a valid Louisiana driver’s license.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
