If so, you might be the perfect fit for our Accounts / Grain Settlement Clerk, as the Accounts Grain Settlement Clerk you will be responsible for processing all grower and elevator grain tickets for payment; ensuring accuracy of application of tickets to contracts, check bank liens for growers and perform other related general accounting functions when required.

We are seeking an accounts receivable clerk to join our accounting/administration department and report to the CFO.

As an Accounts / Grain Settlement Clerk, you will be responsible for:

• Daily grain application of soybean bushels to Grower and Elevator grain contracts.
• Check contracts for correct application of bushels.
• Check Liens for Banks, CCC & FSA Loans before checks are issued.
• Process CCC payments
• Prepare price later contracts for growers and elevators daily.
• Apply all spot bushels to contracts for growers and elevators.
• Prepare deferred contracts and track all deferred payments for Growers and Elevators.
• File all fuel tax reports.
• File all completed grain settlements daily.
• Cross-train and assist in other areas of Merchandising, as assigned.  
• Assist at the reception area as needed, including:
• Greeting incoming visitors to MnSP making sure they are signed in
• Answer telephone, route calls, and distribute incoming faxes
• Other duties as assigned by Management and Merchandisers to meet business need. 

To qualify for this position, you should have:

• Two-year post-high school education in accounting preferred, or equivalent work experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other software packages as needed
• Experience with Great Plains software preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal, written, listening, and feedback communications
• Ability to adjust to multiple demands, shifting work priorities, ambiguity, adversity, and change
• Strong prioritization, organizational, and communication skills with a high degree of professionalism, integrity, and service orientation

You should also be able to bend, squat, climb, kneel, sit, stand, and walk frequently throughout the day. The working conditions are normal for an office environment.
