Job Summary: This role will be supporting the System Engineering Software Integration (SESI) project for the Integrated Combat System (ICS) in development, integration, and testing of the combat system. As a member of the SESI team you will work in an Agile environment focused on continuous integration and development of hardware and software.

A Systems Engineer, also known as lead systems analyst, a network engineer who can also program, or a software engineer who can also manage networks, is an IT/engineering professional who oversees the creation of hybrid software, web and hardware products from initial specifications to final roll-out and maintenance.  The systems engineer is responsible to integrate various network operating systems, application programs and hardware devices. Duties of a systems engineer typically include managing the development cycle associated with producing a resilient software, hardware and web application, including: specification, design, coding, testing and maintenance.

Specific responsibilities:

• Interface with customers for technical collaboration and system integration efforts.
• Foster a good working relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform test and evaluation efforts in support of system level testing.
• Develop and maintain test documentation and procedures.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software related bugs.
• Verify and Validate bug resolution.
• Manage hardware and software configurations.
• Install and maintain hardware and software.
