Ship Engineer repairs and maintains gasoline and diesel engines in boats, such as yachts, tugs, and trawlers, following specifications. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field. Being a Ship Engineer is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Job Summary:
We are looking for seasonal staff for our ship store. This is at a busy marina. The ship store staff will work the store and also be making food and selling and serving alcohol. STAR certification is required to be achieved within the training week. You need to be 18 years of age or older for this position.
This is a part-time, seasonal position, with the hours mostly being from about Memorial Day to Labor Day. Training will begin in mid May. This position will average between 25 and 35 hours per week. Holiday weekends are a must.

Duties:
-Answer phones, provide information to customers, assist with reservations
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Kitchen work: preparing food, cleaning, maintaining good food safety
- Work POS system checking people out, taking payments, etc.
- Sell alcohol with a valid STAR certification. Must get certification within training week.
- Clean and stock store
- Be able to work well with the team, as well as individually
Qualifications:
-Ability to be on your feet and active throughout your shift
- Have or be able to obtain a STAR Certification in during training week
- Excellent customer service skills
