SUMMARY

The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for coordinating shipping and receiving shipments to customers and/or suppliers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Fulfill job material and sales order requirements by reviewing pick lists and labeling material for outbound shipments
• Insure accuracy of all orders.
• Organize all outbound shipments
• Complete required documentation per customer specifications
• Work with warehouse personnel to ensure inventory accuracy
• Package product for shipment in accordance with company packaging requirements
• Utilize fork truck for staging product for shipment
• Must be able to act as a final check in a quality control process.
• Communicate with all departments to organize shipments
• Follows and complies with mandated ISO quality procedures at all times and assists with periodic review of related policies and procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Two years related experience/training, or equivalent combination of education and training.
• Inventory Control Experience preferred

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) and Microsoft Outlook.
• Interpersonal and communication skills
• Observe safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and use equipment and materials properly
• Comfortable presenting information and responding to questions from managers, co-workers, and vendors.
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
• Routinely lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Routinely performs repetitive movements such as bending, twisting, reaching, lifting and pulling
