Shipping Coordinator jobs in Petersburg, VA

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage warehouse inventory and operations
• Pick, pack, and ship orders accurately and in a timely manner
• Receive, put away, and accurately update inventory records
• Manage and verify inventory levels and notifies manager when to reorder
• Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment
• Ensures warehouse security protocols and procedures are followed
• Perform general warehouse sanitation and maintains cleanliness standards
• Respond promptly and courteously to requests from internal customers
• Coordinates with all freight and parcel shipment providers
• Standardize and develop best practices for daily warehouse tasks

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years experience in similar role
• Proficient in Microsoft office, Mobi Works, and WMS
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment
• Fluent in the English language
• Highly organized and able to work independently
• Communicative interdepartmentally

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3-4 years experience in similar role
• Experience in NetSuite
• Forklift certification
• CDL
