Horizon Cable Service is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Shop Manager to join our team. As the right-hand man/woman to the company, the Shop Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our shop. This position requires extensive knowledge of rigging and wireline operations and the ability to prioritize orders, manage inventory, and demonstrate excellent organizational skills. This is a job that will require 40 hours.

Compensation & Benefits

• Annually:$65,000 starting pay based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Support the overall operations of the shop by providing assistance and acting as the right-hand person to the company management
• Possess strong knowledge of rigging,wireline equipment, and operations to ensure efficient and safe handling of equipment, tools, and materials
• Prioritize and plan orders effectively, utilizing resources efficiently to meet client requirements and deadlines
• Maintain accurate inventory records, regularly monitoring stock levels, and identifying potential shortages or excesses to optimize inventory management
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication
• Oversee maintenance and repairs of equipment and tools, coordinating with external vendors when necessary
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, promoting a culture of safety throughout the shop
• Flexibility to work extended hours as needed to meet project deadlines and business demands

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in rigging and wireline operations.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient computer skills to maintain orders using MIS software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and communicate with clients.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, when required.
