Job Title: Auto Repair Shop Receptionist

Job Overview:

As the receptionist of our auto repair shop, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. Your role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service: Greet customers warmly as they enter the shop, answer phone calls, and respond to inquiries promptly and professionally.

2. Appointment Scheduling: Schedule appointments for vehicle repairs and maintenance, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and timely service for customers.

3. Check-in and Check-out: Assist customers with the check-in process for their vehicles, obtaining necessary information and documenting concerns. Coordinate vehicle pick-up, ensuring all services are completed satisfactorily.

4. Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative duties such as filing paperwork, maintaining records, and managing customer databases accurately.

5. Billing and Payment Processing: Generate invoices for completed services, process payments, and provide customers with detailed explanations of charges.

6. Customer Communication: Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles, update them on any delays or additional repairs needed, and provide clear explanations of services performed.

7. Handling Complaints: Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, striving to resolve issues to their satisfaction while upholding the reputation of the shop.

8. Inventory Management: Assist with managing inventory of parts and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels for efficient operations.

9. Safety and Security: Maintain a safe and clean reception area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Secure cash and other valuables according to established procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in an automotive or similar industry.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities..

• Knowledge of basic automotive terminology and repair processes is a plus.

• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks.

Working Conditions:
