The Manager Traffic Manager is responsible for managing the efficient flow of projects and optimization of resources across the Marketing Organization. The Marketing Traffic Manager acts as the central point of coordination between incoming work requests and the CMXO teams (product marketing, creative studio, corporate communications and customer experience/digital experience). The Marketing Traffic Manager builds master calendars, schedules and project timelines, assists in resource assignment, balances team capacity, ensures key meetings are scheduled (status updates, kick-offs, reviews & approvals) and is the owner of project management tools (i.e. Workfront) for the organization. The Marketing Traffic Manager provides strategic leadership through the development of annual capacity plans, best practice work processes, and tactical leadership through day-to-day project management. The Marketing Traffic Manager manages Traffic Coordinators who assist in supporting these efforts.

What you’ll do
Project Scheduling and Workflow Management: Develop and maintain detailed project timelines, ensuring all tasks are completed on schedule. Track the flow of work across departments to prevent delays and identify potential bottlenecks early. Adjust schedules dynamically to accommodate shifting priorities, last-minute changes, or urgent client requests.
Resource Planning and Capacity Management: Monitor team capacity and allocate resources efficiently to balance workloads across creative, production, and account teams. Forecast future resource needs based on current and upcoming projects. Ensure the right talent is assigned to the right tasks, maximizing productivity and output quality.
Traffic Coordination: Serve as the central point of contact for routing projects and tasks between teams. Prioritize tasks based on deadlines, project scope, and client requirements to ensure on-time delivery. Manage concurrent projects, ensuring seamless collaboration across departments.
Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates on project status, resource availability, and potential risks to stakeholders and leadership. Act as a liaison between account managers, creative teams, and clients to align expectations. Communicate changes in timelines or priorities clearly and promptly to all relevant teams.
Process Optimization and Workflow Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in project workflows and recommend process improvements to enhance productivity. Implement and manage traffic management tools (e.g., Workfront, Asana, or Monday.com) to streamline operations. Develop best practices for resource management, scheduling, and task prioritization.
Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time project delivery, resource utilization, and workload distribution. Prepare and present reports on team capacity, project status, and operational performance to leadership. Use data-driven insights to forecast capacity and optimize future resource planning.
Risk Management and Problem Solving: Anticipate potential delays or resource conflicts and develop contingency plans. Resolve issues proactively by reassigning tasks, adjusting schedules, or shifting priorities. Ensure minimal disruption to workflows while maintaining high standards of quality.
Team Collaboration and Support: Foster a collaborative work environment by ensuring clear communication and coordination between teams. Support team leads and department heads in managing workloads and identifying resource needs. Act as a partner to creative teams, allowing them to focus on delivering top-quality work by minimizing operational disruptions.

What you need
Experience: 5 years’ experience; including project management, agency/account experience, marketing.
Bachelor's Degree: BA or BS degree; with a preferred major in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
