MARKETING MANAGER

CLASSIFICATION: Key Employee
SUMMARY: Assists with all aspects of development, implementation and management of property-wide advertising and promotions, and entertainment. Works directly with the Director of Marketing and applicable operating boards or executive committees to ensure all aspects of property (and dual property as applicable) efforts to enhance the property's image, goals and objectives. Produces high quality graphics for in-house or promotional needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):
- Manage all advertising and public relations programs through internal efforts, interval agencies and vendors. Review and evaluate all advertising and media programs.
- Manage and monitor the effective development, implementation and execution of property promotions.
- Manage all social media platforms.
- Oversees the Player's Club and Marketing Coordinator teams.
- Be knowledgeable to all aspects of current marketing and Player's Club programs.
- Track all programs for efficiency.
- Work with external agencies to effectively and efficiently track and report results for all property promotions, entertainment and player's events.
- Manage the coordination, scheduling, execution and contracts for all promotional and entertainment events.
- Monitor expenses versus budget figures to ensure compliance.
- Provide support with regards to research and analysis of casino expenses and revenues, customer service and quality standards.
- Coordinate with necessary external vendors and internal departments to ensure efficiency of all events and promotions.
- Maintain timely procedures for the tracking and execution of all pertinent expenses with regard to promotional and entertainment events.
- Develop high quality graphics that will be used to advertise promotions, tournaments, and other resort activities designed to increase revenues for the resort.
- Develop high quality graphics used for internal branding and communications
- Establish community contacts which the casino would/may want to partner or align efforts.
- Maintain off property brochure and collateral displays and fulfill brochure requests from visitor's bureau, chambers of commerce, and outside businesses.
- Assist in the development and execution of special events and promotions.
- Assist in the development of annual budget.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Minimum 5 years marketing experience and/or training; or combination of education and experience.
- Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.

- Ability to carry out instructions furnished in verbal and written format.
- Must be able to demonstrate a command of Adobe Photoshop CC, which includes (but not limited to) Photoshop, Adobe Light Room and/or Adobe Bridge, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Must be able to demonstrate ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
- Ability to manage department Team Members and ensure growth and positive environment.
- Must pose excellent communication skills.
- Ability to understand and comply with all departmental and company rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
- Ability to perform basic math.
- Ability to implement new policies and procedures.
- Ability to interpret an apply guidelines and procedures.
- Must possess skills in preparing and maintaining records, writing reports and responding to correspondence.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and management. Ability to work flexible schedule.
- Ability to operate a computer, telephone, copier.
- Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office, grammar, spelling, math, and filing.
- Must have leadership skills, team-building abilities, and excellent customer relations and communications skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- No felony or theft convictions.
- Must successfully pass drug screen and tribal gaming commission licensing.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 3 years marketing experience (preferably in a casino venue) and/or training; or combination of education and experience.
- Must have organizational skills, computer literacy, the ability to work with all departments and excellent customer relations skills.
- Gaming experience required.
- Must be able to speak English.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly is required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
- The employee frequently is required to walk.
- The employee occasionally is required to stand; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 ½ miles, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift.
- Must be able to work in a smoke filled environment. Typically the individual will be housed in an office environment.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will escalate when located in the casino environment.
- Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand.
