JOB SUMMARY: Overall responsibility for the operation of the casino on a daily basis, reporting to the General Manager.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Provide leadership & direction for all Bull Durham Casino employees. Communicate effectively to individuals at all levels of the organization. Foster a customer-focused environment by supporting employee efforts to build customer satisfaction, loyalty and commitment. Inspire employee’s confidence & optimism by demonstrating a passion/commitment for delivering excellent customer service by removing barriers. Remain visible/accessible to employees. Insure that the desired standards of consistency, fairness and honesty are adhered to in all personnel situations. Works with ICO and Division of Gaming to ensure casino and employees are in compliance with gaming regulations. Handles routine customer complaints and incidents. Always presents oneself as a credit to Bull Durham Casino and encourages others to do the same. Adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies. Ensures required key gaming license is valid and up-to-date.
OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS: Responsibility for completing all required regulatory and company operational logs/forms correctly. Must have knowledge or the ability to obtain knowledge of casino rules, procedures, and regulations pertaining to the entire Casino Operation. Must present a well-groomed and professional appearance. Ensure all customers are of legal gaming age.
TEAMWORK AND VALUES: Train, develop, and coach direct reports in discipline, policy implementation, organizational structuring and other employee related processes.
