Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
- Manage and supervise staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve practice efficiency and patient care
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to ensure optimal patient care
- Utilize electronic medical record systems such as Epic to maintain accurate patient records
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in managed care, utilization management, and critical care practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a managerial role within a hospital or private practice setting
- Strong knowledge of electronic medical record systems
- Familiarity with managed care principles and utilization management processes
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of critical care practices and the ability to make informed decisions in emergency situations
