Six Sigma Quality Program Director plans, designs, and directs Six Sigma projects. Develops strategy and policies required to accomplish measurable business process improvements. Being a Six Sigma Quality Program Director employs Six Sigma/Lean methodology and analytics to re-engineer organizational operations. Works with other certified professionals in the planning, designing, and implementation of key projects. Additionally, Six Sigma Quality Program Director coaches and trains teams in the utilization and deployment of Six Sigma tools and principles. Requires Six Sigma certification as Black Belt. May require a master's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Six Sigma Quality Program Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. POSITION SUMMARY
Performs refrigeration maintenance and repairs at assigned plant; trains refrigeration technicians; evaluates and recommends equipment improvements to improve efficiency, capability, and yield. This position will mainly be 2nd shift.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
· Train refrigeration technicians in installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration units.
· Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration units, water heaters, boilers, air compressors, fan coil units and air handling units; performs filter changes, periodic lubrication, bearing change out and drive belt replacement.
· Installs and fabricates minor sheets metal work and ducting.
· Modify refrigeration system and software.
· Performs HAZMAT/safety inspections.
· Performs preventative maintenance, and repair services for district refrigerator and air conditioning equipment.
· Maintain an inventory of supplies, parts, and materials.
· Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· One (1) year refrigeration experience in ammonia manufacturing facility
· Completion of Level 1 and 2 class certification/ability to complete and pass Level 1 and 2 Class
· Knowledge of PSM process and procedures
· Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· HS Diploma, GED or equivalent
· Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish reading, writing & speaking
ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS
· Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, 1st, 2nd and/or 3rd shifts.
· Ability to work in temperature conditions between 35- and 95-degrees Fahrenheit; may occasionally exceed 95 degrees Fahrenheit
· Will train on 1st shift (Sunday-Wednesday, 12hr shifts)

· This position is eligible for an incentive bonus, based on achievements of company targets and individual performance expectations
