SLOT TECHNICIAN maintains slot machines, replaces parts, and cleans machines as needed. Removes machines from gaming floor with the aid of a hand truck as needed. Being a SLOT TECHNICIAN may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The SLOT TECHNICIAN may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Physical Demands and Work Environment
Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Heavy lifting required; Ability to pick up to 200 lbs.
At other times, the work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods of standing and walking and climbing; recurring bending, reaching, pushing, pulling and lifting, or similar activities. The work environment is one with possible exposure to prolonged loud noise.
