We are in need of a friendly, responsible, caring, and customer service oriented person to fill a position in a small animal veterinary practice. This person should be a responsible, dependable person with capabilities of working alone or closely with co-workers and a willingness to help in many different areas of the clinic. We are a fast-paced small animal hospital that provides small animal, exotic, pocket pet care, and boarding services.

Responsibilities (included but not limited to)

• Checking in clients and their pets
• Answering phone calls
• Adding appointments to the schedule
• Invoicing
• Taking payments
• Communicating with clients and staff members
• Assisting doctors and technicians
• Maintaining cleanliness in various areas of the clinic
• Most importantly, provide gentle and loving care to our patients.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma (higher education beneficial)
• Read/write English
• Experience with animals
• Experience with customer service
• Lift 40 or more pounds
• Work outside in various weather conditions
• Good time management skills
• Attention to cleanliness and detail inside as well as outside of the clinic
• Organizational skills
• Professionalism and maturity
• High proficiency in computer and communication skills (Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
