Social Media Analyst collects and analyzes data related to social media marketing campaigns. Analyzes social media data to identify patterns and trends. Being a Social Media Analyst monitors social media platforms to determine how a new update or feature impacts audience behavior or content performance. Identifies opportunities for campaign optimization and provides recommendations to improve targeting and messaging. Additionally, Social Media Analyst creates and maintains comprehensive reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to monitor marketing performance and communicate insights to stakeholders. The Arizona Attorney General’s Office (AGO) is seeking a Digital/Social Media Coordinator. This person will play a key role in helping to manage AGO communications and digital media work. This is a core position on our executive communications team.
Support the work of Attorney General Kris Mayes and the Arizona Attorney General’s Office. The AGO represents the public interest of Arizona and its citizens in fighting the fentanyl crisis and the drug cartels, protecting Arizona’s children, combating elder abuse and consumer fraud, protecting Arizona’s natural resources by going after polluters, litigating complex, multi-state settlements, serving crime victims, protecting reproductive rights, and much more.
The Office acts as the largest law firm in the state, representing and providing legal advice to most state agencies. The team of advocates and attorneys enforces consumer protection and civil rights laws and prosecutes criminals charged with complex financial crimes and certain conspiracies involving illegal drugs. In addition, all appeals statewide from felony convictions are handled by this office.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, a self-starter, and have an enthusiasm for public service and the priorities of Attorney General Mayes. This position may offer the ability to work remotely based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.
This position will require creating graphics and copy for social media, keeping an up-to-date content calendar and scheduling posts across AGO social media channels, drafting and designing our newsletter, overseeing AGO’s website and other digital media assets, writing video scripts, tracking press clips, working closely with our videographer on projects and assisting with other communications and administrative tasks as needed. Some weekend and evening event attendance may be required.
