  • The Marketing, Communications and Digital Media manager oversees and manages all
    marketing and communication strategies and processes for the whole school. S/He is expected
    to maintain a high level of professional competence in best practices with marketing and
    communications in general. S/He works closely with the Director of Development and
    Communications and the Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management, and reports to
    the Director of Development and Communications.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    The manager of Marketing, Communication and Digital Media serves as a primary point of
    contact for all marketing and communication activities . His/Her main responsibilities consist of
    promoting the school and ensuring excellent overall customer experience . The manager of
    Marketing, Communication and Digital Media works closely with all school constituencies,
    including faculty, staff, parents and trustees, to create, complete and implement a plan that
    thoroughly attracts targeted prospective applicants , retains current EB families, and provides
    positive opportunities for marketing and experiencing the ethos of EB’s multicultural
    community.

    Marketing strategies

    • Create, develop, execute and oversee a strategic marketing plan in collaboration with
    the Head, the Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management, and the Director
    of Development and Communications with a strong focus on developing new
    student/family prospects.
    • Plan, manage and oversee all marketing support activities, including preparing
    correspondence, reports and presentations, and keeping calendars for all
    marketing/communication activities.
    • Make ongoing assessment/analysis of the marketing strategies implemented.

    Internal/external communications and creative branding

    • Devise, implement and oversee external and internal communications strategies to
    ensure that the school communicates in a consistent, professional and prompt fashion with
    parents, employees, trustees and the wider community.
    • Create presentations, templates and other materials in order to enhance marketing and
    public relations.
    • Ensure that all communications, marketing materials, publications, online presence, etc.,
    properly support and reflect EB’s mission, style guidelines, and strategic goals to
    strengthen brand identity essential to sustaining the school’s competitive position.
    • Oversee the planning, design, and production of all communication & marketing

    materials, including the school’s weekly newsletter, division and programmatic newsletters,
    and division messages.

    Digital & O�ine Strategies (events and ads)

    • Oversee and manage year-round digital strategy, advertising and publications,
    including but not limited to the school website content, social media, sponsored articles
    and brand identity programs online and off-line.
    Required Qualifications
    • BA in Marketing or Communications or equivalent experience
    • 5 years experience in print and digital marketing
    • Social media savvy and presence
    • Excellent verbal and written skills
    • Ability to work independently and manage several projects simultaneously
    • Must be comfortable working under tight deadlines
    • Strong knowledge in applications from Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop

    etc)

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Prior experience working with independent schools
    • Experience with Blackbaud or similar database system
    • French language skills
    Compensation
    • $75K-$80K depending on experience
