Social Media Marketing & Content Specialist

  • : Location: Remote (Preference for Colorado-based candidates) We are seeking a highly creative and versatile Social Media Marketing and Content Specialist to join our team at National Park Posters and National Park Gear. In this fun and dynamic role, you will manage our social media programs, creating compelling written and visual content for Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, etc. You will oversee our UGC (User-Generated Content) program, sourcing and curating content from creators. Your role will also include managing our influencer program, coordinating with influencers and collaborators to promote our products, and developing creative campaigns. Additionally, you will handle our email marketing campaigns using Klaviyo, craft engaging weekly newsletters, and manage our blog content, write posts, acquire visual content, and ensuring timely publication. You will also interact with our Shopify customers to provide exceptional service, manage shipping inquiries and order changes (Shipstation), and monitor online chat conversations. Furthermore, you will oversee the (Yotpo) Reviews Program to solicit and moderate reviews. If you have 2-4 years of experience across social media marketing, are adept at creating both visual and written content, are a self-starter, and are excited to help promote our beautiful national park products, we want to hear from you! Social Media Management You will be responsible for crafting compelling and on-brand content for our social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and more. You will create and post engaging visual content, interact with customers and prospects, and help drive traffic to our website through contests, giveaways, and other programs. Qualifications Experience: Proven experience in social media management, influencer marketing, email marketing, content writing, customer service, or a related field. Experience with managing and creating content for social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc. Familiarity with Klaviyo or other email marketing platforms. Experience with SEO and content optimization techniques. Experience in coordinating and managing influencer campaigns and collaborations. Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong understanding of social media trends, influencer marketing, and email marketing best practices. Experience using social media management and analytics tools. Ability to create high-quality visual content using graphic design and video editing tools. Strong organizational and project management skills. Strong research skills and the ability to write on a variety of topics. Personal Attributes: Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative content ideas. Key Responsibilities: Content Creation: Craft and post compelling and on-brand ads, written content, and engaging visuals, including videos, still images, GIFs, carousels, and reels for social media platforms. Community Engagement: Monitor social media platforms and interact with customers and prospects. Provide information about National Park Posters and National Park Gear, responding to comments, concerns, and questions. Campaign and Post Management: Track and analyze the performance of social media posts and campaigns. Identify high-performing posts and recommend which ones should be "boosted" as ads. Develop and execute contests, giveaways, and other programs designed to drive visitors to the website. Stay up-to-date with social media trends and best practices to ensure our social media presence remains innovative and engaging. Paid Media & Advertising Program Management For Paid Media & Advertising, you will be responsible for developing and creating paid media advertising across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Google. Your focus will be on creating compelling ad content that aligns with our marketing strategies and that resonates with our target audience. Key Responsibilities: Ad Creation and Management: Work with content creators to produce paid media ads across Facebook, Instagram, and Google. Craft compelling ad copy and design visually appealing ad creatives that align with our brand and resonate with our target audience. Collaboration and Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing team to align paid media strategies with overall marketing goals and initiatives. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and platform updates to ensure campaigns are innovative and effective. Provide actionable insights and recommendations for future campaigns based on data analysis. UGC Content Creation & Management Primarily working with paid content creators, you will be responsible for managing our user-generated content across various platforms, including Google Ads, Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram), and other social media channels. This role requires an understanding of social media trends, excellent communication skills, and the ability to foster relationships with our creators to manage content creation and production . Key Responsibilities: UGC Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive UGC strategy to boost brand visibility and engagement. Identify and analyze key trends in user-generated content to inform strategy. Content Creation and Curation: Source, curate, and manage high-quality UGC for use in marketing campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, and social media platforms. Create variations of UGC videos for social media ads Work with the marketing team to integrate UGC into overall content strategy and campaigns. Collaborate with influencers, brand advocates, and customers to generate authentic content. Influencer Program Management You will be responsible for managing our influencer program, including identifying potential influencers, coordinating the shipping of products and posters, and working with influencers to create giveaways and other collaborative programs. Key Responsibilities: Influencer Identification and Outreach: Research and identify potential influencers who align with our brand values and target audience. Reach out to influencers and establish relationships to promote our products. Coordination and Logistics: Coordinate the shipping of products and posters to influencers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. Maintain accurate records of shipments and influencer collaborations. Campaign Development: Work with influencers to develop creative campaigns, including giveaways, product reviews, and social media promotions. Develop and manage influencer contracts and agreements. Content Collaboration: Collaborate with influencers to create high-quality, engaging content that showcases our products. Provide influencers with the necessary resources and information to effectively promote our brand. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with influencers, ensuring ongoing collaboration and brand loyalty. Address any issues or concerns from influencers promptly and professionally. Email Marketing Management You will be responsible for managing our email marketing program using Klaviyo, including campaigns and flows. A key focus of this role will be extensive A/B testing. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating a weekly newsletter that highlights promotions, new product announcements, sales, and directs readers to blog posts. Key Responsibilities: Email Campaign Management: Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to promote products, announce new releases, and drive sales. Create engaging and visually appealing email content that aligns with brand guidelines. Klaviyo Flows and Segmentation: Design, implement, and optimize automated email flows using Klaviyo. Segment the email list to target specific customer groups with personalized content. A/B Testing and Optimization: Conduct extensive A/B testing for email campaigns, signup popups, and flows to improve conversion rates and overall effectiveness. Analyze test results and use data-driven insights to optimize future campaigns and flows. Weekly Newsletter Creation: Develop and send a weekly newsletter featuring promotions, new product announcements, and sales. Include engaging content that directs readers to blog posts and other relevant content. Performance Analysis and Reporting: Monitor and analyze the performance of email campaigns and flows, providing regular reports to the marketing team. Utilize analytics to refine strategies and improve key metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates. Customer Engagement and Retention: Foster customer engagement through personalized and relevant email content. Develop strategies to retain customers and encourage repeat purchases. Blog Creation & Management You will be responsible for managing our blog, which includes researching and writing blog posts, acquiring visual content, and creating short summaries for use in email newsletters and social media posts. You will also be responsible for publishing new posts and revising existing posts based on our editorial content calendar. Key Responsibilities: Content Creation: Research and write high-quality blog posts that engage and inform our audience. Acquire and integrate visual content, including photographs and poster images, to enhance blog posts. Content Summarization: Create concise and engaging summaries of blog posts for use in email newsletters and social media posts. Publishing and Management: Publish new blog posts according to the editorial content calendar. Revise and update existing blog posts to ensure content remains relevant and accurate. Ensure all blog content aligns with brand guidelines and voice. SEO Optimization: Implement SEO best practices in all blog posts to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic. Use keywords effectively to enhance content visibility. Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align blog content with overall marketing strategy. Coordinate with graphic designers and photographers to acquire necessary visual content. Customer Relationship Management You will be responsible for managing all aspects of customer interactions, including answering emails, managing shipping inquiries, processing address and order changes, and handling phone calls. You will also monitor the online chat, solicit reviews, user-generated content, and images of products in customers' homes or offices. Additionally, this role includes managing the Yotpo Reviews Program and coordinating canvas print orders with an outside third-party company. Key Responsibilities: Customer Communication: Answer customer emails promptly and professionally. Handle shipping inquiries, address changes, and order modifications efficiently. Manage and respond to customer inquiries through the online chat system. Answer and manage phone calls from customers. Review and Content Management: Solicit customer reviews to gather feedback and improve products and services. Encourage customers to create user-generated content, including images and testimonials. Request and manage images of products in customers' homes or offices. Yotpo Reviews Program: Oversee the Yotpo Reviews Program, moderating and responding to reviews. Ensure reviews are managed in accordance with company guidelines and policies. Order Management: Coordinate canvas print orders with an outside third-party production company. Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of canvas print orders. Manage any issues or discrepancies with third-party vendors regarding canvas prints.
