Role Description

The Social Media Intern, Summer 2024 is a full-time role with Tmat Products and will focus on social media, engagement, and content creation. Our primary audience is pickup truck owners, tradesmen, and tool enthusiasts. This role will require some travel in and around the Oklahoma City area.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning and execution of social media campaigns across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest.
• Create and post content that is sharable and appealing to truck owners, tradesmen, and tool enthusiasts.
• Engage with our audience by responding to comments and direct messages.
• Recruit and coordinate with social influencers and content creators.
• Monitor and engage with online communities and forums including paid sponsorships.
• Manage weekly email campaigns and onsite blog content

Requirements:

• Experience with Instagram or TikTok
• Capable of creating and editing videos and reels, experience with basic video editing software (tools such as Capcut, Final Cut, Premiere Pro, or others)
• Basic graphic design skills (experience with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills plus an attention to detail
• Transportation to local dealerships and automotive shops around Oklahoma City
• A positive and respectful demeanor when onsite at local dealerships

Preferred Experience:

• An interest in pickup trucks and tool brands.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and their best practices.
• Experience with Pinterest, infographics, and blogging.
• Experience community building and online forums
• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
