Description

Spotts, Stevens and McCoy is seeking a Marketing/Communications Coordinator to assist in the creation of marketing collateral including outward facing materials, social media graphics, social media written copy, email campaign written content, website content, print materials, and more. Additionally, this position will assist in the coordination and preparation of large-scale proposal and qualification submittals, and the maintenance of firm experience materials. 

Responsibilities:

• Create original content from start to finish including researching topic, consulting with technical team of engineers, and then delivering content in a variety of finished products.
• Develop marketing materials including social media posts, social media graphics, written copy, articles, blog posts, and more.
• Build our marketing asset library with both written content and completed graphics for use throughout the calendar year.
• Take responsibility for researching technical topics and consulting with our team of engineering experts to produce accurate and meaningful content.
• Conduct market and competitor research to best understand the messages we should be sharing, as well as the audiences on each of our platforms. Apply that knowledge to tailor the voice of our messaging.
• Convert individual pieces of content into multiple assets for use on all our platforms as well as through email campaigns. 
• Engage in the content planning process as well as development of a content calendar. Contribute your ideas and brainstorms to our overall planning.
• Support the marketing team in other tasks as needed including our robust client and employee engagement initiatives.

Requirements

• BS or BA degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field. 
• Two plus years’ experience in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, or related field. 
• Experience or readiness with Publisher and Canva.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
• Great attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn about new topics. 
• Have a way with words, creativity, and making sense of new things.
• Proficiency in completing tasks and hitting deadlines.
