No Position Purpose The Senior Media Producer is a key member of the Geisel School of Medicine's Creative Services team and is responsible for leading and working with all aspects of video and audio production, including pre-production, on-location shoots, digital editing, and processing for online and mobile distribution, as well as live-streaming events. The incumbent is a key member in the planning and development of the Geisel's video projects and works closely with faculty, staff, and external partners to develop compelling and innovative content for various digital platforms.Description Required Qualifications - Education and Yrs Exp Bachelors plus 3-5 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities - Experience with a range of digital video and audio technologies as well as traditional A/V technologies required.
- Experience with a range of cameras including DSLR, 4K, lens, lighting, and microphones required.
- Experience with software and hardware for video processing, editing, online distribution, and web and mobile technologies, including Adobe Creative Cloud: Premiere, Media Encoder required.
- Experience with digital video as part of an educational multimedia production environment required.
- Experience using Mac and Windows computers required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to deliver presentations on related topics required.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and deadlines required.

Additional Instructions Quick Link Key AccountabilitiesDescription Video Production- Directs all aspects of studio and field video production for shoots, including lighting and multi-camera setups, and handles post-production editing and file delivery.
- Determines software and hardware needs for the project and ensures all equipment and training are up-to-date.
- Stays abreast of new technologies and best practices for the creation and production of media services that improve and support hybrid and online course designs.
Percentage Of Time 70 Description Project Plans and Technology- Executes majority of project plans developed in collaboration with Director of Creative Services, Geisel Communications & Marketing and the Medical and Healthcare Advancement, especially around video shoots, edits, and media delivery.
- Continuously monitors changes in technology to determine direction of future media servers, systems, and applications.
- Develops and maintains documentation for best practices and established workflows for the creation and production of digital media and related assets.
Percentage Of Time 15 Description Lead Production Team- Leads the media production team, providing guidance to media producers. Coordinates and schedules production schedules, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Percentage Of Time 15 --- Demonstrates a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and cultural awareness through actions, interactions, and communications with others. -- Performs other duties as assigned.
