Purpose:
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Intern to join our marketing team. The intern will be responsible for assisting in the management and execution of social media strategies to engage our audience and promote our brand. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing and content creation.

Duration: Summer 2024

Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating and scheduling social media posts for various platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Monitor social media channels for trending topics and engagement opportunities
• Research and propose new ideas for social media content
• Assist in developing social media campaigns and strategies
• Analyze social media data and metrics to track the success of campaigns
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure social media content aligns with overall marketing goals
• Stay up-to-date with current social media trends and best practices

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Marketing, Communications, or related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn)
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
