PAY: $50,000 - 54,000 per year

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assists Program Manager in the supervision and support of residential staff, including paraprofessionals and shift leads in day-to-day operations, including hiring, scheduling, training and performance management, to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for the adolescents.
2. Collaborate with the Program Manager to provide 24/7 on-call support, ensuring staff coverage and addressing client emergencies in a timely and efficient manner.
3. Provide back up support to the Program Manager in their absence, ensuring seamless operations and continuity of leadership in all aspects of the role.
4. Serves as back up in basic residential staff activities (transportation, coverage, etc.) providing direct supervision and support to adolescents in the program, ensuring their safety, well-being and adherence to program rules and guidelines.
5. Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques, providing guidance and support to staff during challenging situations and emergencies.
CERTIFICATE/LICENSE/REGISTRATION:
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a residential or youth services setting, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
