Position Summary:
Supervises a team or team(s) of IT professionals and sometimes, nonexempt employees who support them. Directly responsible for results produced by the teams/groups/sub-units managed. May contribute as a consultant level (i4) technical resource. Guide reporting staff in completing their tasks, coordinate group work flow and provide skill training based on personal proficiency in the technical processes, techniques, and tools they use.
Position Description:

Manages projects, programs, or processes; applies work methods to adapt to changing conditions consistent with Voya-prescribed methodologies and standards.

Approves design, technical, or operational specifications developed by subordinates. Ensures that the final work product of subordinates meets all quality standards.

Perform as a consultant level (i4) IT sub-discipline individual contributor.

Coordinates work across multiple work teams; develops, updates, and implements contingencies for multiple teams to meet changing project or service needs. Anticipates changing resource needs and takes action to meet expectations on time and within budget.

Defines work group goals and establishes priorities and staff performance expectations.

Identifies and initiates work process and tool improvements that lead to increased workplace productivity and employee satisfaction.

Responsible for conducting periodic performance reviews for staff, including professional development plans and goals.

Knowledge & Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a directly related field and/or equivalent work experience.

Five years of progressively responsible experience in IT.
-
Demonstrated success in project execution with involvement in multiple major projects or a sustained record of success as an IT services provider.

Experience with QuoteToPay solution
-
Proven strength in End to end Java development including React frontend dev
-
Proven ability of structure analysis and technical design techniques, database and file access methods.

Experience working in MongoDB, PostGreSQL, Oracle, SQL and/or UDB databases.

Experience with cloud tech including deployment, security, service integration

Experience with Agile Scrum Delivery methodology

Knowledge about the healthcare industry is preferred.
Compensation Pay Disclosure:
Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.
The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya may offer incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
