Job Description:
Torch Technologies is seeking a Software Quality Analyst to support verification of the Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA’s) Ground Test Integrated System Simulation (GTISS). The successful candidate will work as a member of a multi-discipline team of engineering professionals to verify GTISS compliance with system/testing requirements, including top-level requirements defined in the Ground Test (GT) System Requirements Document (SRD), a system model maintained in a Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) environment, and the GTISS Interface Control Document (ICD). This effort includes gathering data across multiple test venues and test events and identifying verification completeness, correctness, and testability to provide objective evidence for supporting the accreditation of the GTISS for use in MDA Ground Tests.
As MDA’s next generation real-time simulation architecture for performing Ground Tests of the Missile Defense System (MDS), GTISS is an integrated, distributed architecture composed of the Objective Simulation Framework (OSF) and participating MDS Element Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL) and digital representations.

- Participate in quality test planning, including supporting development of Integration Plans, Integration Schedules and interfacing with lab contacts to ensure verification needs are addressed via Continuous Developmental Integration (CDI) activities and Ground Tests.
- Support planning and execution of verification approaches, identify venues and data sources, and assess evidence supporting verification of GTISS requirements and interface specifications.
- Provide verification reports for the GTISS including the evaluation of compliance to interface control and requirements documents and overall testing outcomes.
- Support the Ground Test analysis team in the verification of GTISS requirements for test events.
- Interpret and evaluate message data analysis results to determine compliance with requirements and interface specifications.
- Coordinate with Element representatives regarding assessment of simulation architecture / Element system data.
