Software Quality Assurance Tester jobs in Clackamas, OR
Software Quality Assurance Tester tests basic features of new software releases using pre-defined test plans and scripts to identify defects. Follows uniform testing procedures. Being a Software Quality Assurance Tester documents results and uses designated systems and tools to track outcomes. Performs follow-up rounds of testing as needed. Additionally, Software Quality Assurance Tester may require an associate degree. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Software Quality Assurance Tester works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Requirements
Required Skills: Executes given test scripts under supervision. Records results and reports issues. Develops an understanding of the role of testing within system development, as a tool for design improvement as well as a validation process. Reviews requirements and specifications and defines test conditions. Designs test cases and test scripts under own direction, mapping back to predetermined criteria, recording and reporting outcomes. Analyzes and reports test activities and results. Identifies and reports issues and risks associated with own work. Manual testing, and Devonway technology/software experience
