The steakhouse restaurant is a renowned and upscale steakhouse known for its impeccable service and exquisite dining experience. We take pride in offering a diverse wine selection that complements our culinary offerings, and we are seeking a talented Sommelier to join our team and enhance our guests' experience with their expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Curate an extensive wine list that complements our steakhouse menu, taking into consideration various flavor profiles and customer preferences
• Provide expert recommendations and guidance to guests, ensuring an exceptional dining experience
• Conduct regular wine tastings, staff training sessions, and wine education programs to enhance the knowledge and expertise of the service team
• Oversee wine inventory management, including procurement, storage, and rotation, to maintain optimal stock levels and quality
• Collaborate with the culinary team to create wine pairing recommendations for special menus and events
• Stay updated with industry trends, new releases, and emerging wine regions to continuously expand the wine selection and enhance the overall offering

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sommelier in a high-end restaurant or similar environment
• Comprehensive knowledge of wine regions, varietals, vintages, and food pairing principles
• Certification from a recognized wine education program (e.g., Court of Master Sommeliers, Wine & Spirit Education Trust) is preferred
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and educate guests effectively
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in managing wine inventory and ensuring proper storage conditions
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable dining experiences

Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000 per year (based on experience) along side all health, dental & vision benefits.
