Sourcing Manager

Purpose: Empower our field team by sourcing wisely, packing effectively, and ensuring on-time deliveries.

Responsibilities:

• Provide the right material, in the right quantity, at the right cost, at the right time.
• Work closely with Warehouse team, Project Management, Suppliers and Field Staff to ensure timely delivery of materials to properly support operations.
• Work with Estimating & PM teams to help specify job specific material.
• Control material costs and overages/shortages for projects.
• Engage with suppliers to anticipate any material issues in advance.
• Negotiate pricing & availability of project specific material with suppliers in coordination with Warehouse Director.

Qualifications:

• Warehouse material purchasing experience preferred

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong verbal and written communication skills/professionalism
• Strong Computer competency (MS Office, Excel, email, etc. )
• Ability to learn new computer skills
• Friendly demeanor
• Ability to make common sense decisions
• Ability to work independently within the scope of the position
• Customer service oriented
• Willing to serve others
