Responsible for overseeing the day to day operations, guest service standards & team members of the Salon/Spa. Maximizing the guest experience while maintaining a high level of quality service within an Aveda Environmental Lifestyle Salon and Spa. Continued development of client database, services and product for financial growth.
Provide exceptional guest service to all internal & external guests.
Ensure all policies are followed, profit goals are met, programs are implemented and building/equipment is maintained at all times.
Provide leadership, clear direction & reviews for Spa staff. Hold monthly “Huddles” (meetings)
Responsible for scheduling guests, service providers and client coordinators’ payroll processing and approvals for time off.
Coordinate hiring, training & discipline of employees with Director. Coach, manage & interact with team members to ensure development/implementation of quality services that meet the Aveda Lifestyle philosophy and ensure a fun work environment.
Responsible for handling all customer challenges appropriately.
Implement Aveda experiences and GFCR policies/procedures
Responsible for inventory control, monthly counts and ordering
Strong knowledge maintained on equipment and POS processing
Understand, implement & perform responsibility of managing the day to day operations of luxury Resort Salon & Spa
Participate in all Aveda required trainings and implement practices that are taught
Group/party coordinator and GFCR department liaison.
Responsible for maintaining personal service provider licensing and continued education as well as licensing review of all Spa personnel.
Aveda Product Knowledge/Training preferred
Must hold and maintain a current license from the State of Iowa Cosmetology Division in good standing
