We are seeking a FABRICATION MANAGER/SUPERVISOR to join our Metal Service and Fabrication shop! You will oversee the activities of a team of production workers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to read and estimate structural drawings
• Must have experience in welding inspection and certifications to be able to recognize National Codes and standards. Knowledge of general metal fabrication processes: MIG, TIG, plasma, grinders, saws, rolls, brakes, benders, drill press, hand tools & etc.
• Review all bid documents, drawings, and specifications to become familiar with scope of work prior to preparing any big proposal.
• Understanding of Shop Drawings & Layout processes.
• Release completed drawing packages to the shop for fabrication along with required CNC files.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to independently manage own time between needs of the shop management duties and project fabrication schedules.
• Manage an inventory of materials and consumables. Reorder as needed and source new supplies
• Assess and anticipate the needs of projects ensuring required material is stocked and readily available.
• Maintain a clean and well-organized shop by leading daily & weekly cleans for maximum productivity and safety.
• A successful candidate will have an extensive knowledge of welding processes and economics to plan, staff and monitor and safety deliver welding projects according to schedule and budget.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
