Being a Specialty and Metal Sprayer has basic coating skills, masking procedures, measuring skills and able to follow metal spray equipment operation guidelines. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Specialty and Metal Sprayer typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Specialty and Metal Sprayer may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Johnson Metal Works is looking to hire skilled Structural Steel Technicians to join our growing Team.
Applicants should have a solid understanding of Structural Steel Construction and can expect to be involved in Shop Fabrication, Materials Transport, and Field Assembly. Applicant should have experience with Erection Standards for temporary supports and wood framing marriage. Rigging experience is a plus. Project scopes will include but are not limited to, Moment and Mullion Framing, Anchoring and Footings, Staircase Stringers, and High-End Residential construction. Applicants should have experience with SMAW and GMAW processes.
