Hand Sprayer - 2nd shift

SUMMARY

The primary responsibilities of the job include understanding and modifying Standard Operating Procedures, hand spraying materials, operating and adjusting equipment, creating a stain color identical to customer's order, troubleshooting, and experimenting. Occasionally, lifting approximately 20 to 30 lbs of stain is required. Additional responsibilities include following safety procedures and wearing PPE. The job requires good PC, PC software, statistical, and math skills and the candidate cannot be color blind. The working conditions involve standing for the entire shift and working in a spray booth.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• 
  Must be able to understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and when appropriate, participate in modification of SOP to improve productivity and quality of product.
• Experienced in hand spraying materials using a steady and even motion.
• Knowledgeable of hand spraying equipment and the necessary techniques required to operate and adjust equipment.
• Ability to measure quantities of ingredients in creating a stain color identical to customer's order which may involve extensive troubleshooting and experimenting.
• Occasionally will be required to lift approximately 20 to 30 lbs. of stain in transferring different colors.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• 
  Follow safety procedures in handling stain
• PPE required: respirator, safety glasses, gloves, arm sleeves, face shield when required, hearing protection if required in work area.
• All other duties, as required.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• 
  PC, PC software, statistical experience and math skills required
• Cannot be color blind.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Standing for the entire shift
• Working in a spray booth
