Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor manages the daily operations of an organization's audiology and speech therapy functions. Plans and develops speech therapy programs and evaluates program objectives and results to determine effectiveness. Being an Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor reviews assessment findings, treatment plans, and progress notes to ensure compliance with professional standards and regulations. Monitors inventories and supplies and tracks spending to ensure adherence to departmental budgets. Additionally, Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor implements operational procedures to ensure effective care, promote best practices, and facilitate efficient workflow. Provides professional guidance and oversight to resolve complex cases or issues. Recruits, hires, and manages staff and designs and leads development and training activities. May require a master's degree in audiology or speech pathology. Requires State License based on Clinical Specialty. Typically reports to a director. The Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     What You'll Do:

    You will be a Speech Language Pathologist working in our outpatient clinic(s) FULL/PART time (your choice).  If you choose, you would also have the opportunity to work in a school setting, Early Intervention/Steps program, or provide private therapy in a patient's home depending on your location!

    As a member of our clinical team, you will  become an integral part of each of your patient's services team.  Being a part of our clinical team, you will have the opportunity to closely interact with other clinicians of our lively team, learn how to become a remarkable therapist and crush your job responsibilities, which include:

    • Speech Language Pathologist will assess students' communication skills and identify communication disorders in areas such as articulation, fluency, voice, feeding and swallowing, and expressive and receptive language.
    • Speech Language Pathologist will participate in testing and screening children.
    • Speech Language Pathologist will developing treatment plans and goals, interventions and educational materials.
    • Speech Language Pathologist will develop home treatment programs and provide training to parents and caregivers.
    • Speech Language Pathologist will instruct assigned support staff use of augmentative communication devices, hearing aids, FM systems, feeding techniques and strategies to implement treatment plans.
    • Speech Language Pathologist will complete ongoing professional development requirements.
