Sponsored Programs Director directs and oversees externally funded programs for a university/college such as research programs and scholarship programs. Responsible for managing the administrative activities of the program including identifying funding sources, acquiring funding, setting program policies and objectives, and allocating resources. Being a Sponsored Programs Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Sponsored Programs Director manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Summary of the Position: Family Support Specialist is to deliver quality community-based services while utilizing Youth Advocate Programs mission and core principals. This professional will be available to provide services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, as part of an adjusted time schedule. Each specialist is required to work a minimum 15-20 hour work week with most of these hours being billable or face-to-face intervention. The number of weekly hours of face-to-face intervention assigned to each family will be determined by case complexity and individual needs. It is anticipated a family referred to the program will receive approximately 2-5 hours of face-to-face intervention weekly.
Qualifications/Requirements: Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mental Health related fields such as psychology, social work, or related discipline preferred, not required.
Bi-Lingual is preferred.
Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance coverage.
