Staff Nurse - RN - Hospice provides professional nursing care to assigned terminally ill patients in a hospice environment. Records patient histories, performs various diagnostic tests, administers medications, and develops patient care plans in conjunction with other medical professionals. Being a Staff Nurse - RN - Hospice performs examinations and prescribed procedures, operating and monitoring medical equipment as necessary. Observes patients' condition and records observations in patient medical records. Additionally, Staff Nurse - RN - Hospice typically requires a bachelor's degree in nursing.     **Shift: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM Experience: • 10 months of Hospice experience is required. • Travel experience is required. • Experience with Oasis is preferred. • Experience with Epic is required. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license prior to placement start. • This role will require floating to multiple locations • Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be considered a traveler when applying for this role. • COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted. • COVID booster required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted. • Flu vaccination required for onboarding. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted. Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Additional Details: Pediatric Home Hospice RN - North / East King County WA and Surrounding Areas Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. No weekends and on call. May visit up to 6 patients per day; 30 productivity points standard Years of Experience Required: 1 YR of Skilled Hospice and/or Home Health Experience / Pediatric experience If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. RTO Restrictions: Confirm with hiring manager Traveler is expected to have their own transportation. System does a good job grouping clients minimizing drive and windshield time. Occasional maximum radius of 50 miles. Attire / Scrub Color: Any basic color scrubs Parking Cost: Free ALL travelers are expected to float between all facilities within a given state. travelers' refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours. References covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years 2 references from last 36 months (Any reference type) Proof of identification required Certifications: • BLS (Basic Life Support)
